Hundreds Attend Summer Party

The Regent at Burnsville Summer Party on August 21, 2024, had something for everyone who attended. An estimated 500 people participated, including residents, friends, families and staff.

Attendees listened to a variety of pop, jazz, folk and rock ‘n roll music by Bobby & Christine throughout the event. Kids had the chance to have their faces painted, and received balloon animals from clowns.

Individuals had plenty of treats: popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy. The main dishes were very popular, as well. Regent at Burnsville served 540 corndogs, 800 tequila-lime chicken skewers, 1,500 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, 700 watermelon slices and 150 pounds of French fries!

Director of sales and marketing Sue Seykora presented $305 from the split the pot raffle to lucky resident Nora. Regent at Burnsville received the other $305 to put toward a special project.

Thank you to everyone who visited our independent and assisted living community for this special event!

A special thanks goes to members of the Burnsville Savage Lions Club who volunteered to help make the event possible.
