We are excited to announce that Elim Care and Augustana Care have agreed to join together to combine housing options, skilled nursing/health care and community-based services. We expect to develop our plans more fully in 2018-19.

As respected, well-known leaders in the eldercare field, Elim Care and Augustana Care are voluntarily and proactively coming together from a position of strength. The partnership will reinforce both organizations’ missions and increase the impact we can have daily on those we serve. With more than 200 years of combined Christian ministry and service to older adults of all faiths and traditions, EC’s and AC’s missions and visions are substantially similar. An affiliation will benefit those we serve by strengthening our focus on resident, patient and client care.

Together, Elim Care and Augustana Care can identify more opportunities to partner with other senior care providers and health care organizations to address complex medical issues; provide more services; and attract more key leadership talent.  The affiliation will also allow us to connect to more resources to keep up with the expectations of current and future residents and changes in assisted living or health care regulations and respond to them. Most importantly, dedication to the well being of residents, patients and clients will remain at the heart of our mission.
